Kaduna State Government annouced that two new confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the state are contacts of the index cases, amid growing cases of Coronavirus in the nation.
The State government made this known through a public statement by the Commissioner of Health; Dr. Hajia Amina Baloni, on Tuesday, March 31.
According to a report by Daily Trust, the Commissioner said that the two positive cases are results of contacts from an index case.
However, Hajia Baloni said the health officials are already on move, to trace people who have been in contact with the positive cases.
The State Health Commissioner went ahead to report that all hands are on deck, to minimize the transmission of the virus, in the state. She also added that those who just arrived from high-risk countries should be in self-isolation for 14 days.
On a final note, Dr. Amina Baloni urged the general public to observe personal hygiene while staying safe at home.
