Lagos State Discharge 7 Coronavirus Patients From Isolation Hospital





Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced on his Twitter handle on Friday, 10th April that Lagos State has discharged 7 Coronavirus patients from the Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba 

He stated that a total number of 49 people have recovered from Coronavirus, and have been discharged so far, in the state.

According to The Punch, it was reported that 158 confirmed cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in Lagos State, as at 9:30pm on Thursday, 9th April.

In his statement, he said;
“I bring you more good news from our Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba. Today, seven more patients – three females and four males were discharged to reconnect with the community after full recovery and having tested negative twice consecutively for COVID-19.
"This brings the number of patients successfully managed, and discharged from our Yaba Facility, to 46.
"So far, we have had 100% recovery from Coronavirus cases we have taken in, and managed at our isolation facilities.
"While we celebrate our successes, let us note that social distancing is important, and necessary in the ongoing tussle against Coronavirus."

He ended on a note by imploring Lagos State citizens to stay at home, and comply strictly to advices from medical experts.
