Many People Hate Me Because My Dad Is Wealthy - Davido

Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has figured out why a number of people tend to hate him.

According to the popular artiste, he is hated by some Nigerians merely because his father is rich.

Davido’s father, Adedeji Adeleke is a Nigerian billionaire, business magnate, founder and president of Adeleke University.

He is also the CEO of Pacific Holdings Limited.

Davido recently took to Twitter to explain why people hate him after a comment by a fan.

The fan said the singer does not deserve the amount of hate he gets.

Reacting to the comment, Davido stated that his real fans love him.

Davido stressed that those who hate him do so because they are unhappy his father is rich.

“What hate ?? They just mad my Dad rich !! MY FANS LOVE ME !!,” he wrote.

Davido is also regarded as one of the richest artistes in Nigeria.
