The list of features and things you would need to maintain a man [or woman] seem quite infinite, if opinion articles, and videos and other channels of giving relationship tips are considered.
One of those advices, one which has been flown, floated and told and retold to ladies over the centuries is that ‘the fastest way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.’
To impress, attract and maintain a man, just feed him well; the belief goes. Till present, it remains one of the most popular things people say about relationships. But is that truly the case? Is it true the best way to get to a man’s heart is through his stomach?
Easily, the answer to that question, in my personal opinion, is a capital NO. There are several misconstructed love advices and dating relationship myths out there, and it is on those lists that this popular belief belongs to, rather than on the list of useful tips to finding real love and maintaining a lasting healthy relationship.
As excellent as your kitchen skills are, it won’t hide obvious incompatibilities, character anomalies, negative behaviours, and incapability to communicate properly. Definitely, it won't credit you with other great traits needed to maintain a lasting relationship.
Cooking skills are cool, and will boost the relationship if you put them to well use, but to invest hopes on those kitchen skills in your hustle for a long lasting relationship is not advised.
Your good delicacies will only get as far into your man’s stomach. You won’t get deeper into his heart, as you hoped if you lack other more crucial relationship features.
It is these things – compatibility, humility, commitment, faithfulness, patience & long-suffering, emotional intelligence, excellence of character, etc - that the responsibile and best men pay more attention to, not your ability to make a tasty meal, out of #500.
